Andhra Pradesh reported yet another all-time high of 1,813 new coronavirus cases in a 24-hour cycle ending 9 am on Saturday, the fourth time this week that a record high has been breached. On the positive side, the day also witnessed a high of 1,168 patients cured of Covid-19 and discharged.
On Friday, the state had recorded 1,608 positive cases, 1,555 on Thursday and 1,322 on Monday.
The new cases include 38 returnees from outside Andhra Pradesh, health officials said.
